CURT's 56296 is a vehicle-specific trailer wiring connector for Mitsubishi Outlander, Eclipse Cross, Need OEM Tow Package. It plugs into the socket the factory already fitted, so nothing is cut or spliced. The output is a 4-way flat connector, which carries tail lights, brake lights and turn signals. Circuit protection is rated 3.0 A on the turn and brake circuits and 6.0 A on the tail lights.
