Choosing the right Lincoln hitch
Start with the year range in the title, then the receiver size: 1-1/4 inch on an MKZ or MKC for a bike rack, 2 inch Class 3 or 4 on a Navigator or Aviator for a trailer. What class hitch does a Lincoln Navigator need?
A Class 3 or Class 4 with a 2 inch receiver. Both are listed for 2020 to 2026; Class 3 covers 2007 to 2019.
Do I need 4-flat or 7-way wiring on a Lincoln?
A 4-flat runs lights only and suits a utility trailer. A 7-way adds brake and charge circuits for a camper. Navigators with the factory tow package already have a 7-way; the Tekonsha harnesses here connect a brake controller to it.
Does a Lincoln need a brake controller?
Only when the trailer has electric brakes. Each province sets a weight above which trailer brakes are mandatory, and a tandem-axle camper behind a Navigator will be over it.
Do Ford F-150 accessories fit a Lincoln Mark LT?
