Van shelving (485 parts)

Two-, three-, four- and five-shelf aluminum units, fold-up shelving, end panel kits, shelf kits, dividers, retainer lips and parts bins. Shelving is sold as vehicle-specific units for common cargo vans and as universal kits you can combine to build the exact configuration you want. Each shelf carries 55 lb per linear foot and takes 0.100” aluminum dividers that screw to the phenolic shelf surface.

Safety partitions and bulkheads (91 parts)

Fixed, contoured, sliding-door and driver-side-only van partitions in solid, perforated and windowed panels. A partition separates the cargo area from the cab so a shifting load cannot reach the driver, and Westcan’s full-height lockable sliding door versions give you floor-to-roof access with one-finger operation. All mounting brackets, hardware and instructions are included.

Headache racks and cab guards (96 parts)

A headache rack — Westcan calls it a cab guard — mounts behind the cab of a pickup to protect the rear window and the occupants from a load shifting forward under braking. Westcan builds them in standard, full mesh, half mesh, side mesh, full bar and light-mount styles, with LED versions available. They install with no drilling: the rack uses the truck’s existing stake pockets, so the box is never punctured and the factory finish stays intact.

Rail caps, rear racks and canopy racks (133 parts)

Smooth aluminum rail caps cover and protect the box rails on pickups from 1999 model years forward. Add a rear rack and a set of rail caps to a cab guard and you have a complete truck rack; over-canopy racks and ladder rack install kits extend the same system to canopies and service bodies.

Liners (101 parts)

Phenolic-coated plywood floor liners with a hexagon anti-slip pattern, plus wall, ceiling, sliding door and rear door liner kits. Liners protect the van’s interior panels from dents, add a mounting surface for equipment and are pre-drilled for installation.

Drawer units, workbenches and storage (150+ parts)

Aluminum drawer units with dividers and liners, aluminum and butcher-block work top kits, end panels, top trays, parts tote holders, document storage and Cleat Lock cabinets sized for Milwaukee Packout boxes.

Choosing the right parts

Start with the vehicle. Confirm the model year, roof height, wheelbase and — for pickups — the box length, then check those against the compatibility table on the product page. Depending on the trim level of your vehicle, some modifications may be required.

For a full van upfit, work in this order: liners first so the interior is protected and you have a mounting surface, then the safety partition, then shelving and drawer units, then accessories. For a truck, start with the cab guard and its install kit, then add rail caps and a rear rack if you want a complete rack system, and a secondary hold down kit if you are running a cab guard without rail caps.

Common questions

What is a headache rack?

A headache rack is an aluminum or steel barrier mounted behind the cab of a pickup truck. It shields the rear window and the cab occupants from cargo shifting forward during hard braking, and gives you a point to mount lights, ladders or a load. Westcan refers to these as cab guards; the two terms describe the same product.

Do I need a partition in a cargo van?

A safety partition keeps unsecured cargo out of the cab. It is the single most effective piece of equipment for protecting the driver in a loaded van, and it also reduces cabin noise and keeps heating and cooling in the front of the vehicle.

Will these parts fit my van without drilling?

Westcan truck racks use the existing stake pockets and require no drilling. Van shelving, partitions and liners mount to factory locations and ship with the brackets and hardware needed; depending on the trim level of the vehicle, some modification may be required.

How long does installation take?

Install times are published on each product page, drawn from Westcan’s own figures. They range from a few minutes for accessories to several hours for a full partition or shelving unit, with a median of about 0.6 hours per part.
