Masterack commercial van shelving, partitions and ladder racks
Masterack started as the metal fabrication division of the Southern Spring Bed Company, founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1883. In the Depression it built welded wire shelving for a local telephone company's service vans, and by 1969 it was supplying van storage systems to telephone companies across the United States, including Western Electric. Through the 1970s and 1980s it became the supplier of choice to telecom and cable television fleets, and from that grew the OEM ship-thru programs that let a van be upfitted before it reaches the dealer.
