CURT's 31017 is a front-mount receiver hitch cut for Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, 3500. It puts a 2" receiver at the front bumper, rated to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight and 350 lb tongue weight. A front receiver is what you want for a snow plow, a winch cradle, a cargo carrier or a spare-tyre mount, and it makes backing a trailer into a tight yard far easier, because you can push instead of reverse.
