CURT 31012 is a front mount hitch with a 2" receiver (drilling required) for select 2007-2019 Chevrolet & GMC and 2007-2020 Cadillac models. The fitment table below lists every model and year. Fitment details: Excluding Hybrid (Tahoe, Yukon, 2007-2020 Escalade); Excluding Z71 (Avalanche).

It puts a 2" receiver at the front bumper, rated to 5,000 lb gross trailer weight and 500 lb tongue weight. A front receiver is what you want for a snow plow, a winch cradle, a cargo carrier or a spare-tyre mount, and it makes backing a trailer into a tight yard far easier, because you can push instead of reverse.
