CURT's 12060 is a class 2 receiver hitch cut for Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, Mercury Mariner. Rated to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight and 350 lb tongue weight. The 1-1/4" receiver is open at the back, so road dirt and water clear the tube instead of packing into it. The brackets are made for this vehicle, so the crossmember lands on the factory mounting points.
