CURT 12009 is a Class 2 trailer hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver (exposed main body, drilling required) for select 1971-1996 Buick, 1980-1985 Oldsmobile, 1977-1996 Chevrolet and 1983-1986 Pontiac models. The fitment table below lists every model and year. Fitment details: Sedan (Roadmaster, Caprice); Passenger Only (Parisienne).
It is rated to 3,500 lb gross trailer weight and 350 lb tongue weight. The 1-1/4" receiver is open at the back for easy cleaning. It has a vehicle-specific design, and drilling is required for installation. It is tested in accordance with SAE J684.
