CURT 70120 is a custom tow bar base plate for 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 & GMC Sierra 1500, 2016-2020 Chevrolet Suburban/Tahoe, 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD & GMC Sierra 1500 Limited. Fitment details: Z71, Excluding Adaptive Cruise (Suburban, Tahoe).
It is for dinghy towing the vehicle with a tow bar. The base plate bolts to the vehicle frame and gives the tow bar a solid attachment point, and it spreads towing forces equally to reduce stress on the frame. The twist-lock tabs install and remove as needed, and the base plate is concealed for a factory look. It is physically tested to gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). Safety cables and installation hardware are included; the tow bar is sold separately.
