CURT 70118 is a custom tow bar base plate for 2017-2019 GMC Acadia.
It is for dinghy towing the vehicle with a tow bar. The base plate bolts to the vehicle frame and gives the tow bar a solid attachment point, and it spreads towing forces equally to reduce stress on the frame. The twist-lock tabs install and remove as needed, and the main body is concealed for a factory look. It is physically tested to gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). Safety cables and installation hardware are included; the tow bar is sold separately.
