CURT 55415 is a replacement OE 7-way RV blade socket that plugs into a vehicle's factory USCAR socket. It is sold by socket type, not by vehicle: the vehicle needs a standard plug-in USCAR socket.
It mounts on the vehicle side of the connection and accepts a trailer wiring plug, so nothing is cut or spliced. The 7-way RV blade output carries tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, electric trailer brakes and auxiliary power. The body is black molded plastic with a spring-loaded dust cover.
