This 8 inch stainless steel cleanout plate assembly is a service part for hydraulic tanks and reservoirs, not a tank itself. It provides access to the inside of the tank so the reservoir can be opened up, cleaned out and cleared of contaminants during scheduled service. Shops running dump, plow, spreader and wet kit hydraulics use a cleanout plate to make tank servicing part of routine maintenance rather than a teardown job.
