This SaltDogg® 2.8 cubic yard electric auger spreader is a welded 304 stainless hopper spreader for contractors and municipalities running dump bodies or flatbeds rated at a minimum 13,000 lb GVW. It gives you bulk-route volume on an electric drive, so there is no engine to refuel or service mid-storm, and it spreads bulk salt or a 50/50 sand/salt mix.
- Welded 12 GA 304 stainless steel hopper for corrosion resistance.
- Two independent 12V electric motors: 3/4 HP on the auger, 1/2 HP on the spinner.
- 5-1/4 in. variable pitch auger under a stainless adjustable inverted V to ease driveline stress and steady flow.
- 18 in. poly spinner with three adjustable baffles casts material from 2 ft out.
- 12 in. adjustable-height swing-away chute with quick detach pins for bulk unload, servicing and towing access.
- Two top screens with 1/4 in. bars included; welded bracket accepts the optional 3012081 400 lb vibrator (sold separately).
