Fitment details: With 5th Wheel Prep Package.

It converts the Ram puck system to industry-standard rails that accept most 5th wheel legs and rollers. An existing hitch can be moved from a previous truck to a puck-equipped truck with no hitch leg reconfiguring or disassembly. A quarter-turn anchoring system gives quick installation and removal, and the anchors adjust to eliminate chucking between the legs and the puck system. It is rated to 25,000 lb gross trailer weight, and capacity is limited to the lowest-rated towing component. It is tested in accordance with SAE J2638.

Converts the Ram puck system to standard rails

Industry-standard rails accept most 5th wheel legs and rollers

Moves an existing hitch from a previous truck to a puck-equipped truck

No hitch leg reconfiguring or disassembly required

Quarter-turn anchoring system for quick installation and removal

Adjustable anchors eliminate chucking between the legs and the puck system

Rated to 25,000 lb gross trailer weight

Tested in accordance with SAE J2638

Carbide black powder coat finish

Limited lifetime warranty (one year on finish and parts)

Specifications

Part number

16042

Brand

CURT

Type

Puck System 5th Wheel Adapter with Rails

Gross trailer weight

25,000 lb

Finish

Carbide black powder coat

Product weight

96.7 lb

Warranty

Limited lifetime (1-year finish and parts)

Vehicle fitment

Years

Vehicle

Configuration

2013-2027

Ram 2500

With 5th Wheel Prep Package

2013-2027

Ram 3500

With 5th Wheel Prep Package

Fitment and installation notes

Requires puck system for installation (year, make, model specific)

Capacity limited to lowest-rated towing component

Warranty does not carry over to other 5th wheel components or attachments
